LUCKY    ME!
I'm a sentimental freak! I keep anything that would remind me of events that I've been to. Well, with K-lite, I've been really lucky with their various no-self humiliation contests. "Freebies are always almost good for you!" Take it from me. Now, take a look at the stuffs that I won from them. (I still have to scan the original tickets of the freebies that I got! Soon!)

MOVIES

CDS/CASSETTES GIGS ETC. ETC.

MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE-March 29/1999
It was my youngest sister's day! It was supposed to be my gift to her but she opted for Dawson's Creek! I watched it together with my other sister! The movie was GREAT! Really enjoyed it! Or maybe, because I'm a sucker for those romantic/love story flicks! (maybe!) Got the tickets from Ron South!

PAYBACK-March 08/1999
Didn't get lucky this time! I've seen the movie on a regular screening! Man, it was violent!

I STILL KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER-February 16/1999
The sequel to the featured drive-in movie! I liked this one than the original! More body count! Got a dozen tickets from Miss Monica! Actually, it was a birthday gift!

I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER-February 12/1999
The featured film for the 3rd K-lite Drive-in movie! We were there! Got 2 carpasses this time! This was literally a freebie!

YOU'VE GOT MAIL-February 01/1999
Loved the movie! Shed a tear or two! Got my tickets from Little David!

PRACTICAL MAGIC-January 19/1999
Watched it with my sister, it was okay, after watching the flick you'll love the song this kiss! Got the tickets from Miss Monica!

US MARSHALS-November 20/98

Wasn't able to make the 2nd K-lite drive-in movie (too bad!) nonetheless, I got this carpass as a souvenir! (good enough for me!)
THE NEGOTIATOR-October 12/98
My cousins told me the movie was good, I was at home watching Dawson's Creek! I'm gonna watch it, especially now that I'm gonna be out of work for a while! Am I happy? (Nope! Coz I wouldn't have FREE internet!) Got the tickets from Sir Bob but I won it from Precious!!

A PERFECT MURDER-October 05/98
Well, I gave the tickets to my parents, I'm starting to get hooked on Dawson's Creek! I got this one from Ron South, he made me go on the air for this one! (grrr!) I'm kidding!

THE AVENGERS-September 08/98
The movie was funny in a serious way. I liked it. My sister liked it. How now, brown cow! was the password I gave Monica for the tickets. Actually, I gave a sure win password. That's for me to know and if you wanna find out ask Monica 'bout it.

LETHAL WEAPON 4-July 27/98
I was there. Gave out my 3rd newsletter. I took longer in giving out the newsletters coz it wasn't a K-lite event. But nonetheless I was able to give out 40 something copies of the newsletter. Got my lethal tickets from Sonny Z.

MY BESTFRIEND'S WEDDING-June 18/98
The last movie for K-lite's diamond filmfest. I had to be there coz my 2nd newsletter was out! Distributed them all. Afterwards, I was bugging my sister that we go to another wedding (THE WEDDING SINGER) but she didn't want to, so, we stayed, I was sleepy at that time. SLEEPY. Got my passes from Monica.

JERRY MAGUIRE-June 11/98
The third flick for K-lite's diamond filmfest. As much as I like to see the flick again. I gave them away...again. My reason? My sisters backed out on me! Got the tickets from Joshua! (or from someone else?) I forgot but yeah, I think it was from Joshua.

LOVE AFFAIR-June 04/98
The second movie for K-lite's diamond filmfest. I gave away the tickets! I wasn't feeling okay at that time. Got the tickets from Blade.

CITY OF ANGELS-May 19/98
It was a toss up between Ally McBeal or giving out the newsletters. The newsletter won. The movie was fun. I got the tickets from The Blade by answering who Nicolas Cage's significant other is? I answered Patricia or Rosanna Arquette, I forgot already! All I know, at that time, I got it right! (I think?! yeah!)

ERASER-May 08/98

I was lucky enough to be at the first ever drive-in movie together with my cousins. They took a nap during the second half of the movie. I guess, I nodded off as well. Distributed more newsletters. Met Lannie Chan. Got a second serving of Ice Creams. (Thanks to Miss Monica) Got my carpass from Joshua.

US MARSHALS-April 27/98
This time I attended the screening. I missed Ally McBeal. But it was okay coz during the screening I gave out my first ever(?) unauthorized so-called newsletter. Got my tickets from Monica.

MAD CITY-April 21/98
Gave away the tickets that I got from Paul Reno. Nuff said.

SPHERE-April 07/98
My sister and her friend watched the advance screening, they liked it. I had to go on the air to get the Sphere tickets from Sonny Z. He always do that, put his callers on the air, that's his style.

FALLEN-March 03/98
Gave the tickets once again, well...why the heck do I join their contests if I'll just give them away? Well...I don't know, it's a game for me. Joining in their contests and most of the times I get lucky, so, I feel good. I'm a shallow person so, I get a kick out of simple things like joining in K-lite contests. Got the tickets from Paul Reno.

THE POSTMAN-February 16/98
My birthday. Ate a lot. Gave the tickets to a co-office worker. Can't say much but I got the tickets from Martin Gill.

DEVIL'S ADVOCATE-January 20/98
I'm no Keanu fan but the movie was okay. Again, people saved seats. We were 3 rows from the screen. My sisters didn't mind, so, I didn't say anything. I think, if I remember is right I got the tickets from Blade!

FIRE DOWN BELOW-November 03/97
Well, no one wanted to go down below with Steven Seagal. I don't really like action flicks. I got the tickets from...geez, forgetful me! Sorry but I'm grateful! (always!)

ADDICTED TO LOVE-August 04/97
It was a rainy night. A lot of people weren't able to make it. (we almost didn't make it!) The movie was FUN! Jessica Zafra was present during the screening. Again, I can't remember from whom I got the tickets.

BATMAN & ROBIN-June 24/97
A memorable event for me. Watched the movie together with my cousin. I saw a person whom I wasn't suppose to have seen. (what a small world we live in!) Won the Bat tickets from Lannie Chan, the question at that time was "who's playing Poison Ivy?" I answered, Alicia Silverstone, oooops, I mean, Uma Thurman.

VOLCANO-June 03/97
We came in late. We stood up all throughout the flick. Well, can't really complain, we were there for FREE! If only people didn't saved seats for those people who came in much later than us. Do I sound like I'm complaining? I can't seem to remember from whom I got the tickets. Sorry.

THE CRUCIBLE-April 29/97
I've seen this movie on a pirated VHS copy prior to the screening but I was still gonna see it on the BIG screen but my fickle minded cousins backed out the last minute. Well, good thing I've seen it already and besides it wasn't really that great of a movie. Got lucky from Monica!

THAT THING YOU DO!-March 04/97
My first time to be in an advance screening for a movie. I'm a cheapskate, I always wait for the regular screening of the movies that I wanna see. Just being practical, I guess. I got the tickets from Don Henry!
