The written whatchamacallits are from my so-called newsletter, K-LITE BUZZ, the writing is not as good as it gets but this I promise, I'll try to make them good as time goes by.

THE FIRST EVER RADIO-DRIVE IN MOVIE!
Yes, you got that right, the first ever drive-in movie will be happening on the 8th of May, Friday night at the Greenhills Shopping Center Carpark.
Our ever cool K-lite has come up with another one of a kind activity, this time a drive-in movie. Sounds cool? Well, it is cool! We always see "drive-in movie scenes" from those foreign films but we never get
the chance to experience it...until now. K-lite wants us to be part of the fun and excitement of a drive-in movie.
Here's the deal, to be a part of the drive-in movie, first and foremost, you have to get a car pass.
How? Well, by tuning in to K-lite. Almost every dj give away at least one car pass, so, you get a chance in winning
a pass anytime of the day. I already got one myself, they didn't hand it to me but I won it from them.
I was lucky caller #8!
K-LITE JOCKS ON TWISTED
Every Sunday afternoon at 3, there's a show called 'Twisted'
on 103.5 K-lite. The hosts, Jessica Zafra and Little David. It's always fun to listen to Twisted.
It's like a weekly Sunday school, wherein listeners can learn and participate as the same time. From time
to time, Little David or Jessica Zafra, gets sick or go out of the country, in substitute for them
are their semi-regular guests like Budjette & Brandy Tan, Dino, "the astrology dude"
Henry, and of course the dj's of K-lite. Sonny Z, Martin Gill, Joshua & Jinji (they both host the
primetime talkshow called 'TALKBACK' too!) have been a co-host of the said show. But of course, we listeners
want to hear the other dj's on Twisted as well, like Blade (who have been getting a lot of look-alikes
lately, to name a few there's Willem Dafoe, Jimmy Ray, Keanu Reeves?) well, you be the judge when you
get to see him. Monica (hearing her girltalkin' with Jinji on GIRLTALK and singing on NITELITE
is not enough for her followers who are mostly guys!!!) Don Henry (who by far has the most female followers,
he wouldn't be tagged as Lover Boy for nothing! He is kinda cute?, I have to agree on that one! Does he sound
like Beavis? well, oh-kay! maybe, a bit!) Lindy (well, our ever early morning newsie hosts TALKBACK
from time to time but you hear her more than you can notice, from radio commercials to TV commercials, next time
you see a shampoo commercial, listen good!) Paul Reno (he actually got his own talkshow already called
SPORTSLITE with Anthony Suntay but it'll be a hoot if he could let loose for a few minutes on Twisted,
wouldn't it?) Lannie Chan (her timeslot is kinda for the insomniacs out there, and it'll be real fun to
actually hear her during day time, when the sun is still up!) and of course there's DJ Unplugged (to finally
listen to him will be a refresing experience, I think...) GIRLTALK CELEBRATES ONE YEAR OF GIRLTALKIN'
The month of May is not just for the flowers and fiestas but also for a show
called GIRLTALK. Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday, Monica & Jinji were girltalkin' every weekday afternoons at 2, which later on got cut down to two days (Tuesday & Thursday) so that, the girls in control
could prepare a better and fun show for those listeners (it's somewhat ironic because most of the callers are guys
though!) of K-lite. Yes, it's been a year of fun-filled girltalkin' (male-bashing, beauty tips, diet tips, survival tips
and what have you, as long as the girls could be a part in it, they'll talk about it!) So far, my favorite topics were about
those whirlwind romances & the best thing that your S.O. (significant other) did for you. Ask Monica and Jinji about men in black,
beauty tips, men in sports, love, men in tights?, dieting, men in movies, pre-marital sex, men up-side down! (by far, my
favorite K-lite commercial!) they will surely come up with something that will at least answer your questions. What I love
about GIRLTALK is that it's interactive, I mean, a group of girls point-of-views is surely better than just one
girl's point of view. I get to listen to different opinions, facts or fictions about what goes on a girl's life. It's a
good feeling to know that other girls experience certain things that I thought I only experience myself. It's really hard
to be a girl nowadays, if you try to be a bit different they'll tagged you as a weirdo, if you try to go with the flow,
they'll say you don't have your own personality, so where do you put yourself? Well, I don't hate being a lady, I mean, if
I've given a choice to choose my gender, without a doubt, I'd still choose to be a girl. Let's face it, I think it's better
to be a girl than to be a guy nowadays. I've nothing against men, it's a fact of life that some views of girls doesn't always
coincide with those of the opposite sex. UNTITLED
This page is the disclaimer section, I don't even know how to make a formal kind of this one,
for this is my first time to make this. Here goes...I am not working or related to anybody on K-lite. I'm just a
listener like most of you are. In making this so-called newsletter, I didn't interview or notify anyone from K-lite.
I made this with my concience clear as to not humiliate or hurt anybody in the process. All the facts on these newsletter were based
on what I've heard on 103.5 K-lite. The only thing that I made up was the "K-lite Buzz"
and the quote "the best things in life are not always for FREE but with K-lite you always get the best things for FREE."
By the way, the picture on the front page is a 'parking meter' the computer that I used run out of black ink and I have bad color
coordination so, you just have to be content with this! Oh I forgot, you'll get the photo-copied version of this newsletter, so, you
won't see the colors I've mixed-up! This newsletter will not be in anyway be available on your news stand. If my budget will permit it,
I'll make 50 to 100 copies of this newsletter. I wished to show you all the colored version but computer ink is rather expensive and
besides this is for free. K-lite didn't pay me to do this. I made this because I'm on a break from work and I never thought
that I could be a bit creative when I've a lot of time in my hands. One more thing, on page 3, on the dj's sked part, the titles
that I made up were from the stuffs I hear on the air. Sonny Z and Lindy have the big breakfast show. Paul Reno
plays golf so, he's a swinger. Monica is Jennifer Aniston or viceversa? Martin Gill's spot is on a late
afternoon. Joshua, well, honestly, I couldn't think of a better title, Lair, sounded okay?! Don Henry is K-lite's
Lover Boy/Beavis (no offense!), that's what I always hear from the other jocks. Blade has a common face like Little David
said. Lannie Chan, as in Jacky Chan. DJ Unplugged, the name says it all. There, I guess, I got that one clear.
Last but not the least, my thanks to my cousin for letting me use their PC for the longest time. And I used the program Publisher
which was a BIG help. I'm not a writer so, my grammar is not as good as it gets. I want to be anonymous but I do want to hear some
feedbacks. (good or bad, violent ones? well, okay, no biting-off the ear!) E-mail me at marcy76@usa.net THANK YOU
FOR SPARING A FEW MINUTES OF YOUR TIME IN READING THIS.
See in K-lite "FAIRNESS" is a big thing, or so I like to think? (No, they really are fair and
square!) I've been a listener for a few years now and I have to admit I've been fortunate enough to get
the freebies that I got from their numerous, easy to win and not self-humiliating contests. I'm digressing,
let's go back to the drive-in movie, okay, so, you have the car pass already (for better chances of winning
listen to the late morning slots or the really late ones, the jocks? Mr. Paul Reno or Miss Lannie Chan,
I'm not saying that nobody listens to them, the thing is, at those times the listeners are somewhat
tired or just plain lazy to dial K-lite's digits and win something. It's their loss, FREE stuffs are
always almost good!) next, you have to have a car or something that resembles to it. You don't really
have to own a car, borrow one or just invite relatives or friends that have one. Besides, you already
got the pass and it will be idiotic of them not to grab that opportunity of experiencing a so-called
drive-in movie. By the way, there'll be FREE snacks and drinks on the venue, so, you don't even
have to spend on the said thingy. I'm actually looking forward to it, along with my niece and nephew.
Oh! What's the movie? I almost forgot, it's the re-issue or re-release of the movie 'ERASER' with the
"I'll be back" guy Arnold Scwarzenegger and singer/former Miss USA (or was it America?) Vanessa Williams.
Forgive me for being forgetful because I failed to mention one important detail, your vehicle should
have a "radio" because the audio of the movie will only be heard on K-lite's frequency, which is,
if you don't bother with the digits, it's 103.5 on your FM dial. Well, I guess, I've said whatever
it is that you must know regarding the drive-in movie. Hope to see you there.
K-lite jocks on Twisted is happening sooner than
you think, be patient because if the demands are high they might just give in! Keep your fingers crossed! I'm keeping mine!!!
I'm really glad that a radio talkshow such as GIRLTALK is being heard because it
really helps the sometimes confused girls to be not confused. I, too, learned a lot from listening to GIRLTALK. I've
never participated interactively but I always try to listen with an open mind and try to apply them to my life. But of course,
we are not dependent on the hosts, I think, they're on the air to voice out the ups and downs of being a girl and at the same
time, they're there to support and guide the girls who listen to them. I really thank all the people who are responsible for
GIRLTALK.
To MONICA and JINJI, MORE GIRLTALKIN' TO COME AND STAY ON THE AIR!
GIRL POWER! (Oops, I think, a group of spicy girls have said that already, well...still...GO GIRLFRIENDS!!!)
